I think the shorter oil & dry lanes are harder than the heavy , long oil. With the heavy, long oil i have a chance to find equilibrium especially with others on the lane because the oil will eventually redistribute.

- I"m a Georgia transplant, born in DC, grew up in the West Indies and have lived in several states along the east coast. I love the climate in Georgia. I enjoy traveling and swimming but not in pools. I have two daughters, both college students and two dogs (left by my youngest).
I started bowling as a teen with my dad, stopped for a while in college and picked it up seriously after my divorce. While at one time it was therapeutic, I now fine it enjoyable and relaxing.

- Hey Barbara - can you tell me the type of Bowling Tape you gave to me to try. It's absolutley the best tape on the market right now... so I need to know the EXACT name, etc of what you gave me.... It is the blue tape in strips...

- Thanks. I dont get to practice at all for now, and I am only bowling on Thursday Nights for now...at least until my Mom gets better. Please keep us in your prayers. I am planning to bowl this summer though.
Keep up the good bowling - Plus, you owe me a re-match for beating me up bowling in front of everyone... :-)

- I did terrible (again). actually, everyone on my pair did terrible...lol. I shot the high game on my pair with a 192...and I struggled to get that. I guess I am in a little slump...but I will come out of it soon. Thanks for joining the community too. Feel free to invite your friends.
