Mine by far was today. Was shooting a bad game and in the 10th threw the 6-7-10 split. Took an extra board from where I usually shoot my ten pin and slid the 6 over to the 7. ended up striking and getting the extra 10 pins. Funny thing is next game one of my team mates picked up the 4-7-10 the same way and she is a righty.
It was the same split you had. Was back in my junior days during a rolloff for 1st place. I was achor and it also was the 10th fame. 2 pins to tie, pick it up and we win. Being young and cocky I went for it and picked it up. These days would go for the safe 2 and have another rolloff.
The only time I can remember is once I had to make the 4-10 split in the 10th to cash in a tournament...and I did. In the past, I have missed a single pin (10-pin) in the 10th...and caused me to make $750, instead of $1,500...losing in a doubles match 1500 to 1499. Sad, but true....
