If you had an injury, what would be the first question you asked the doctor?

Back when I was in the juniors I had a fractured bone in my ankle. First thing I asked was... How soon before I can bowl? He just laughed and said maybe 2 months. 3 weeks later I couldn't stand it and started back bowling. Ankle still acts up on me every so often. That was 30 years ago.

I know exactly what your talking about. I recently had a baby, but I bowled all the way up until the day she was born. And was prepared to go back the following week if my team needed me. My fiance had a hernia which is very painful, but he popped some pain killers and bowled in a tournament. Also my mother needs to have surgery to correct a broken finger, but refuses to go through with it cause she couldnt stand the down time, she just bowls through the pain, very well I might add. This is a very addictive sport, or at least for me it is.
