Bowling 200 Community - Forums and Videos for bowlers

Hey all, I'm kind of new to the bowling scene, but have been working with Dannial Cohen so I'm getting a good start. I'm regularly bowling in the 130-150 range, and have bowled a 192 once. I'm looking for a league to get started in that I can also take my wife to--preferably one more for just practice, as thats what I need the most of. My wife isn't interested in "working" to get better, she just likes to have fun and manages to do that without being too interested in her score. We live in Lawrenceville, and are thinking of trying the Wednesday practice league at the Brunswick on Hwy. 29. Anyone have any advice as to whether this would be a good or bad idea? Advice as to other leagues to check out would be appreciated as well. Like I said, the wife isn't too competitive, so we're not looking to make money or anything, and at the same time don't want to drag the rest of a "team" down for the same reason (my wife will regularly bowl anywhere between 80-130). Any advice and suggestions would be appreciated.

There was a Wednesday Night Leaugue at Stockbridge that was good for beginners. Maybe you can call them and check it out.

Thanks, Chase. Stockbridge is a bit far for us to go on a weeknight. I chatted with some folks at the pro shop at the Brunswick in question, and we've signed up for their practice league on Wednesday night. Its a handicapped league, so that answered our questions about scoring. Plus, I bowled my best game so far at this center this past Friday (a 204!).
